The Library Master
Demonstration Program

• Windows Version 5.01A (6 MB). This 32 bit Windows application runs on Windows 95, 98, ME, NT 4.0, 2000, XP, Vista, and 7.

• Windows Version 4.15F (3 MB). This 32 bit Windows application runs on Windows 95, 98, ME, NT 4.0, 2000 and XP.

• DOS Version 3.03 (670 KB). The DOS program is also compatible with DOS, Windows 3.1 and OS/2.

If your Web browser tries to run this program when you click on the link, right click on the link and select "Save Link As" or "Save Target As" to save the file to your computer. Make note of the folder in which you downloaded the installation program.

The demonstration program is a single user version. Contact Balboa Software (sales@balboa-software.com) for a demonstration copy of the network version.

1. Log on as Adminstrator or an Administrator equivalent account (not necessary in Windows 95/98/ME).
2. With Windows Explorer or the Find Files command on the Windows Start Button, find the file that you downloaded with your Web Browser.
   • If you downloaded the executable setup program, the file is lmw5.exe (version 5) or lmw41.exe (version 4).
   • If you downloaded the Zipped version 4, the file is lmw41.zip. Use PkZip or Winzip to uncompress the executable setup program. In Windows XP, you can open the zipped file by double clicking on it.
3. Start the setup program:
   • [All Windows versions, except Vista and 7] Double click on the setup program and follow the installation instructions.
   • [Windows Vista and 7] Right click on the installation program and select Run as Administrator.
4. When you are asked for a folder in which to install the program, do not choose the same location as another version of Library Master.

Obtaining the Manuals

• Electronic manuals: When you install version 5, you can select the manuals as a component to install. The version 4 manuals can be downloaded here. The manuals are in PDF format, so you will need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader to read these documents.

• Printed manuals. The Trial Version of Library Master includes the Library Master demonstration program on CD along with printed manuals.
