Demonstration Program
After you have downloaded the Library Master
demonstration program,
follow these steps to install the program on your own IBM PC compatible computer:
- Use PKUNZIP
to uncompress the program files.
If you are using the DOS version of PKZIP, enter this command from a DOS prompt:
pkunzip libdemo3
If you prefer, you may uncompress the files with the Windows-based
program Winzip instead.
- Install the demonstration program by entering the command:
install
The demonstration program will be installed on the C: drive in the
directory "C:\LIBDEMO".
Running the Library Master Demonstration Program
Follow these steps to run the Library Master demonstration program:
- Change to the drive and subdirectory where the database is installed by
entering these commands:
C:
cd \libdemo
- Start the program by entering:
lib
- When the program starts, read the summary of Library Master
features and basic commands. Press PgDn to browse through the
program information.
Press ESC when you are done reading about the program.
- Press F1 at anytime to read the online help about how to use
Library Master.
